Adverse Impacts of ‘Western’ Alternative Route (10.5 miles)

The 10.5 mile Western Route, which is located primarily in Fauquier County, impacts 152 acres and includes numerous significant sites; including Battlefield Baptist Church, Buckland Farms, and Vint Hill Farms. Six (6) RPAs will be crossed – over 600,000 square feet, and nearly 14 acres of RPA cleared.

The adverse impacts to these sites and this region, which is also part of the Journey Through Hallowed Ground, are just as detrimental as those noted in the other routes.

(If anyone affected by the Western Route has further input on adverse impacts, please provide it)
