Dominion: McGuire Letter to Chairman Stewart, BOCS – 7/24/17

From: “Charles Penn (Services – 6)” <charles.penn@dominionenergy.com>
Subject: Dominion Energy Virginia Appeal for Cooperation to Chairman Stewart on Haymarket Transmission Project

Colleagues, attached is a letter sent out moments ago to Corey Stewart, Chairman of Board of County Supervisors for Prince William County making an open appeal to Chairman Stewart to work with Dominion Energy Virginia to find a solution to the Haymarket Transmission and Substation Project needs. As you may recall, it was Prince William County who lured the data center project to Prince William County. Yet the needed infrastructure is very much up in the air.

In addition to the attached letter to Chairman Stewart, Dominion Energy Virginia has formally asked the Virginia State Corporation Commission for a 60-day hold on the current proceedings to provide with Dominion more time to continue our discussions with the County.

I’m available for providing you additional background but the letter speaks for itself.
