Heritage Hunt Golf Club Community Suffers Big Loss Along Northern Route Alternative

There are many reasons that people choose to retire in specific areas and communities.  For those who chose Heritage Hunt members, one of them could have been its award winning golf course.  Having worked many years, there should be a certain sense of security when you decide you will spend your retirement years in such a community.

Not so, if Dominion Virginia Power chooses the Northern Alternative.  This is another example of the completely unnecessary devastation that people in this community would suffer if the I66 Hybrid option is not chosen in order to bring Amazon its power for  their 500,000 sq ft proposed data center in Haymarket.

Our firm was honored to be selected by the Heritage Hunt members and community to manage their investment.  As a worldwide leader in the golf industry, we take great pride in our partnerships.  To hear Heritage Hunt risks losing three holes on its golf course was stunning.  Clearly, if the Northern Route was to be selected, it would render the course unplayable with no viable land or design to replace the holes. The impact to BCG would be significant; however, the economic impact and loss in quality of life to the residents and community would be catastrophic.  Championship courses have and will always be 18 holes – and nothing less!
